LESSONS

We have 15 year + experience performing, teaching and recording.   We offer one-on-one music lessons tailored to the needs and goals of each student.    Our students range from children just discovering the joy of music to those preparing for university, from young adults who want to accompany themselves singing,  to adults who have always enjoyed music and want to keep their minds active.   We believe everyone can find a path in music and our objective is to help you find it!

We provide lessons for the following

• GUITAR / BASS /  UKULELE

• PIANO / VOCALS

• ACCORDION

• THEORY / HARMONY

• COMPOSITION / SONGWRITING / BASIC DIGITAL MUSIC PRODUCTION

LESSON  POLICIES

• Cancellation of a lesson must be made AT LEAST 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time in order to receive a make-up lesson. This includes leaving a voicemail, a text message or an email.

• In the event that you/your child does not show up or if SPMS has not been notified within 24 hours, it will be considered a forfeited lesson.

• We ask for no more than 2 reschedulings per month.

• If you know of dates ahead of time where you/your child cannot make a lesson, please notify us when booking/paying for your lessons at the beginning of the month.

• There are no refunds on unused or lessons canceled without proper notification.

MAKE-UP LESSONS

• Typically, make-up lessons take place at an alternate time/day within the week. In some cases, the make-up lesson will be added after/before the original lesson time, enabling the student to have an hour lesson.

COVID MEASURES/CANCELLATION EXCEPTIONS

• Should you or your child need to isolate due to possible exposure to Covid-19,  we offer an online option via zoom so that you may continue lessons at your regular time.  This can be arranged on the day of if you find out you/your child needs to isolate.   We also offer the option of rescheduling if you prefer to wait for a negative test, however note that lessons will not be carried over to the following month.

RATES  AND PAYMENTS

• $30 per half hour lesson

• $50 per hour lesson

• Payments can be made via Etransfer, Paypal or Cash. 

• All lesson fees are due in advance of your first lesson of the month.  If you are paying cash, you may bring your payment to your first lesson of the month. ​

• There are no refunds on unused or canceled lessons.
